We are a social business that uses big data to save lives on the roads.
Every year, thousands of young people die on our roads despite safety devices designed to protect them. These devices can be better designed, better placed and better repaired. To do this, the people responsible need to know where they are and what condition they are in.
At the moment they don't.
Safety in Numbers is using big data, machine learning, and the power of the commons - the same community spirit that drives crowd sourced projects everywhere - to create a free, public map of road safety features and hazards. We also do paid work with road operators, installers and manufacturers to create long term solutions to these issues.
